I’m sure health care is getting its fair share of coverage, but I just wanted to share with you an commoner like myself feels.  On one hand I am very in favor of universal coverage, since I believe a health society is a strong and successful society, but on the other hand I am very weary of the government stepping in smothering the innovations that private health care has made through a forced public option.  Not to mention there are some fantastic health insurers already out there, besides medicare and medicaid. Cinergy Health, Aetna, and Cigna are just some of the exemplary private insurance companies out there.  So if they already exist, why crush competition?
