As a 7 foot tall senior, Greg Oden led Lawrence North High School to an undefeated record, and a third straight Class 4A Indiana state championship. In that season Oden scored 22.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting 74 percent from the field. Oden dominated in the state championship game against Muncie Central. He scored a game-high 27 points and pulled down 26 rebounds.

Named the 2006 Indiana Mr. Basketball, Greg Oden was also a member of the McDonald’s All-American Team and played in the All-American game.
